About Luis

I am a producer and multimedia journalist from Miami, Florida currently working at WSVN as an assignment desk assistant. I graduated from Emerson College in Boston, MA in May 2020.

 

Throughout my time at Emerson, I interviewed Eugenio Martinez, the last Watergate Burglar alive in November 2019 in Miami. In this video report, Martinez talks about the break-in and his time in Cuba with the CIA. I was also able to witness the Iowa Caucus rallies and process in February 2020, I produced a half hour special at Emerson called Undiscovered: Boston. It takes a look at the hidden gems in the Greater Boston Area. I also covered news making events such as the 2018 Massachusetts Gubernatorial/Midterm Elections. My intersnhips were at WSVN in Miami, and both WHDH and WCVB in Boston.  

 

As an RTDNA member, I served as Co-Treasurer for the Emerson chapter in charge of a $64,000 budget funded by Student Government, wrote news for the website http://www.webn.tv, and attended EIJ 19.
